outlines our standards and policies regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in compliance
with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and global child protection laws. We are committed to
providing a safe environment for all users and have zero tolerance for content or behavior that sexually
exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
By using Podables.ai, you agree to comply with these standards and policies.
2. Definitions
a. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
CSAE refers to any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This
includes, but is not limited to:
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation
- Sextortion of a child
- Trafficking of a child for sex
- Sharing or soliciting sexually explicit content involving minors
- Otherwise sexually exploiting a child
b. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
CSAM refers to any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated
imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. This material is illegal,
and our Terms of Service strictly prohibit using Podables to store or share such content.
3. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on Podables:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing CSAM
- Soliciting, grooming, or attempting to exploit minors
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Content that promotes, normalizes, or glorifies child sexual abuse
- Using platform features to coordinate CSAE activities
- Attempting to identify or contact minors for sexual purposes
- Sharing personal information of minors in a manner that could facilitate exploitation
Important: Violations will result in immediate content removal, account termination,
and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. In-App Reporting Mechanism
Podables provides an easily accessible in-app mechanism for reporting suspected CSAE/CSAM:
- Users can report concerning content by selecting the "Report" option available on all posts,
messages, profiles, and comments
- The reporting flow includes a specific category for "Child Safety Concerns"
- Reports are prioritized and reviewed promptly by our dedicated safety team
- Users can add details about their concerns to assist in our investigation
We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may violate these standards
immediately.
5. Our Commitment to Action
When we receive reports or otherwise gain knowledge of potential CSAE/CSAM, we will:
- Immediately review the reported content
- Remove confirmed violations without delay
- Preserve relevant evidence as required by law
- Report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the US or equivalent
authorities in other jurisdictions
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
- Take appropriate action against the responsible account(s), including permanent termination
- Implement additional safeguards to prevent similar incidents
6. Preventative Measures
Podables employs multiple layers of protection:
- Proactive content monitoring systems
- Human review of flagged content
- Age verification processes where appropriate
- User education on digital safety
- Regular review and updates to our safety protocols
7. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Podables complies with all applicable child safety and protection laws across our operating
jurisdictions, including but not limited to:
- Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) in India
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the US
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions for children in
the EU
- Similar child protection regulations in other operating regions
8. Designated CSAM Point of Contact
Podables has designated a Child Safety Officer responsible for:
- Overseeing CSAE prevention practices
- Managing CSAM reports and compliance
- Coordinating with authorities and Google Play
- Implementing safety improvements
